LAUREN JOHNSON, Watercolorist, Pastellist, Art Instructor,  Distinguished  Merit  member of the Idaho Watercolor Society, and Bosco Open Studios (BOSCO) , paints and teaches from her home  studio in Boise, Idaho.   A transplant from  Albuquerque, New Mexico, she is the   Past President and Signature member of the New Mexico Watercolor Society,  Signature member of the Taos National Watercolor Society and Pastel Society of New Mexico,  a frequent award winner in their shows as well as  Art in the Park, Art and Roses, Bosco Open Studios Tour, Weems Artfest, Masterworks, and numerous regional and national shows.  Her works span from landscape, still life, animal art, cityscape, and southwestern scenes and encompass realism to abstract impressionism.  She teaches Watercolor in the spring and fall,  Judged the Fine Arts categories in the 2015 Western Idaho Fair and hosts a studio open house in conjunction with Bosco (Boise Open Studios Tour) each year in the fall.
